it’s not true that ‘after the 4th autistic child, the 5th would probably have it’, i know you said on part 5 you were too quick to judge and i appreciate you saying that and i agree that maybe she shouldn’t have had more children but you can never ever know.

Just thought i would let you know, i am a special needs teacher and Aspergers syndrome is no longer a recognised form of autism but it is in its own category of social disorder. however at the time of filming it was.

i think the mom is …
i think the mom is one of the most humble i’ve seen on the show… like you can just see how she’d take ANYTHING. she just wants her family together & safe. she deserves all the help she can get… i have a friend with a disabled sister, and she was put in an institution rather than her parents dealing with it. it’s hard. this family is in my prayers.
