ABC Extreme Home Makeover for Boey

Shane helped build a serenity pond for “Boey” Janessa Byers’s family, they were diagnosed the same month and year and lived down the hall from us at Doernbecher’s
Children’s Hospital. The day after the taping of the show, Shane was complaining of pain which is rare for him, so we took him to Urgent Care and he broke his femur and titanium plate and underwent a second amputation. We were invited by The Sparrow Clubs (Thank You) www.sparrowclubs.org . The children paticipating are cancer warriors fighting for their life’s. They are all Super Hero’s in my Book! Thank you Matt the producer of the show and ABC’s Extreme Home Makeover Edition. I do have a super challenge for you the Ronald McDonald House in Portland Oregon, many families use this home every day and it needs a rescue. Contact tsoma@rmhcoregon.org

We miss her so much. We live everyday to honor her life and give glory to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior for giving us eight and a half beautiful years with our extraordinary daughter. I just watched your ‘extreme makeover home edition’ on TV today in UK (2nd Sept 2008) and my heart broke throughout the show but I sobbed at the end when I read that you had passed on. However knowing what kinda child you were on your website, I just know Jesus came to collect what He loaned to make a difference in the world, that was YOU Boey YOU ARE AN INSPIRATION TO US ALL run after God’s rainbow, I can’t wait to see it myself God Bless you sweetheart
